Martina
and Valter Foschini have a lot more in common that just their last name.
Newly married (2001), they share artistic and design sensibilities,
real estate philosophy and their philosophy about the Art of Living
well.
An international couple (he’s from Brazil; she’s from Germany)
they bring refreshingly creative and artistic sensibilities to their
business; and truly believe in The Art of Living as a way of life, which
to them means surrounding oneself with beauty and actively creating
a life that deeply satisfies.
In addition to their real estate and design company, this endlessly
creative couple is also actively involved in the art and drama communities
in Denver.
Martina Foschini
Born in Germany, Martina came to the United States in the late 1980s
to attend college. She graduated from CU in Boulder with a bachelor’s
degree in communications in 1991. She then began managing single family
homes and was soon investing in real estate herself. After getting her
real estate sales license and then her broker’s license, she began
helping others in the real estate market.
An active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Martina
contributes both physically and financially to this important cause.
“I believe everyone deserves a place they an call their own,”
she says in her soft German accent, “and I am doing everything
I can to create that space for people.”
A gifted photographer and set production manager, Martina
jokes that her German upbringing helps her to get things done in an
organized, timely and efficient manner. Good thing, because for her
the Art of Living involves lots of activities and creative outlets,
in addition to her full-time job and frequent travel to connect with
family, friends and culture in Europe and Brazil.
Valter
Foschini
Born in Brazil, Valter moved to the United States in the early 1980s.
He started working in architectural companies shortly after that, living
for about five years in New York City and another five years in Miami
before he moved to Denver. Here in Denver he worked for Pouw and Assoc.,
and KDA Architects before he started his own company in 1998. Most of
Valter's work has been residential (see portfolio) and he believes very
strongly that your home is an extension of your personality, that it
needs to be a place of comfort and relaxation, and should be your haven
from the stresses of the outside world.
Both, Valter and Martina have taken workshops in Feng Shui and try to
incorporate this eastern philosophy of good energy flow, when working
with and advising clients.
